Undergraduate Programs
Applicants must have a high school diploma or above, recognized by the government of their home country.
Friendly Reminder: You will need to provide proof of your academic qualifications when applying for a visa, so please ensure your diploma is officially recognized. For details, please consult your nearest embassy or consulate.
Master's and Doctoral Programs
Before applying, please verify whether your bachelor's/master's degree is from a university recognized by Taiwan's Ministry of Education. Only degrees from recognized institutions are eligible for application.

Language Proficiency Requirements
1. English-Taught Programs
Applicants for English-taught departments and degree programs must provide one of the following English proficiency certifications:
- Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) B1
- Other relevant English proficiency test certifications
Note 1: Applicants from English-speaking countries, native English speakers, or those who provide academic credentials from institutions where the language of instruction is English are exempt from submitting English proficiency certifications.
Note 2: English-speaking countries are defined as countries where English is an official or widely used language, based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official list.
2. Chinese-Taught Programs
Applicants for Chinese-taught departments and degree programs must provide one of the following Chinese proficiency certifications:
- Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) A2
- Other relevant Chinese proficiency test certifications
Note: Applicants who are native Chinese speakers or provide academic credentials from institutions where the language of instruction is Chinese are exempt from submitting Chinese proficiency certifications.
