Career Exploration

The  Career Exploration program is primarily designed for B.A. students.

However, Fo Guang University offers many opportunities for international exchanges, including dual-degree programs. For more details, please visit the FGU Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs website.

Our department places great emphasis on practical experience and career development.
👉 All B.A. students are required to participate in a “Workplace Exploration” course during the summer between their third and fourth year, offering hands-on learning in real-world environments.

We collaborate closely with several nonprofit organizations affiliated with Fo Guang Shan, including:

  • 🏛️ Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Museum

  • 📚 Fo Guang Shan Editorial and Cataloguing Department

  • 📺 BLTV (Buddha’s Light Television)

  • 📰 Merit Times Daily News

Through these internships, students not only gain practical skills and apply what they’ve learned in class, but also build valuable connections—some have even gone on to work full-time at their internship sites after graduation.
