Part time work
To make the process easy, students can submit electronic copies of their student ID, alien residence certificate, passport, and bank passbook cover page to the FGU Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs, where dedicated staff will guide them through the work permit application. However, proficiency in Mandarin Chinese may be required for many part-time positions, particularly for office roles on campus.
In a positive update, the Ministry of Labor has extended the work permit validity for overseas Chinese and international students to a full year, offering even more flexibility for work opportunities.
