The damp chill in the air could not dampen the warmth and enthusiasm of every step forward.

On December 28, the Department of Buddhist Studies welcomed nearly 100 volunteers from the Yonghe Learning Center of Fo Guang Shan for a special visit.

Associate Chair Prof. Adrian Tseng personally introduced the distinctive features of the department, guiding everyone through its unique approach that integrates academic research in Buddhist Studies, everyday practice, and contemporary applications. Through the campus tour and meaningful exchanges, participants gained not only knowledge, but also experienced a deep sense of humanistic care and warmth.
