✧ Assembly for the Beginning of Semester 114-2 | Dean Hsia Encourages Faculty and Students to Strengthen External Engagement and Promote the College Brand, Moving Toward a Global Center for Chinese Buddhist Studies ✧

On March 11, the College of Buddhism at Fo Guang University held its semester-opening assembly for Semester 114-2. Dean #HsiaYun-Chung opened with the “Three Goods” — a good environment, good learning, and good work — encouraging faculty and students to actively build external connections and promote the College’s distinctive identity. He also urged students at all levels to deepen their professional training: undergraduates to explore boldly, and master’s and doctoral students to further strengthen their academic research and publications.

Dean Hsia also shared updates on the College’s internationalization plans and progress in securing resources, including an upcoming Fulbright visit and Ministry of Education project funding. He further addressed efforts to improve campus transportation. During the assembly, recipients of the 114-2 Academic Excellence Awards and Graduate Scholarships were also recognized in affirmation of their outstanding academic performance and conduct. 👍
