The delegation toured the College of Buddhist Studies' facilities, including its professional library, to gain a deeper understanding of the institution’s academic rigor, diverse professional offerings, and distinctive features in Buddhist education. Discussions explored potential opportunities for educational exchange and international academic collaboration, laying the groundwork for future partnerships.
To mark the occasion, PhD student Venerable Zhiwen and MA students Guihua Zhang and Xiaorong Xing prepared a traditional tea meditation ceremony complemented by a guzheng (Chinese zither) performance. The ambiance, enriched by the fragrance of Qilai Mountain oolong tea and floral scents intertwined with the soothing music, created a harmonious and pleasant atmosphere. The distinguished guests expressed their deep appreciation for the cultural richness and profound appeal of Buddhist traditions, as well as the college’s educational philosophy and global vision. They look forward to further international exchange initiatives in the future.
