Assistant Professor Juen Chien from the Department of Buddhist Studies at Foguang University went to the 「Systems of Representation in Asian Religious and Philosophical Traditions」 workshop at Ghent University in Belgium to deliver a speech on "Mental Representation in Yogācāra: The Case of the Three Natures" article. 

The Center for Buddhist Studies at Ghent University held a 5-day workshop, focusing mainly on Asian religious, philosophical and aesthetic issues. It conducted a systematic study of expression and symbolism systems within Asia, and introduced the key to these disciplines. Concepts to strengthen the theoretical foundation in academic fields such as Asian religions. The course includes: analysis of text and image materials, as well as investigation of doctrines and history, etc. 

The Ghent University Center for Buddhist Studies, referred to as GCBS, was founded in 2007 at Ghent University Language The Department of Literature and Literature, founded by Professor Louis de La Vallée Poussin in the early 20th century, is the first academic Buddhist research center in Belgium. The GSCB provides scholars and students with the opportunity to study and study Buddhist philosophy, precepts, social culture and other fields. Members collaborate in their respective research fields, so GCBS regards itself as a platform for international academic exchanges and also organizes various types of academic lectures and exchange activities so that scholars can communicate about their research methods and results.
